What it does
NovaStem is injected into either the scalp or the skin as a high-concentration stem cell preparation. The stem cells, along with the growth factors they release, support repair of damaged follicles and dermis by increasing blood supply and collagen production. For hair loss, it's used in addition to proven medication, not as a replacement for it; on the skin, it supports regeneration following laser, scar or lifting treatments.
How it is planned here
The process always starts with a dermatologist's consultation, priced at ₩30,000 and inclusive of a one-month supply of topical or oral hair-loss medication. During this visit, the scalp is examined and photographed for later comparison, and the dermatologist determines whether 30cc or 60cc is the right amount, and whether an IV protocol would add value. The injection itself is performed in a private room under topical anaesthesia and takes roughly 30 to 40 minutes.
What to expect
Mild tenderness or small bumps on the scalp are expected for a day or two afterward. Hair shedding tends to slow over two to three months, and regrowth is formally assessed at the six-month mark against the original baseline photos. Most patients undergo two to three sessions spaced a few months apart, continuing their medication in between.

Is stem cell treatment a replacement for hair-loss medication?
No. Medication treats the cause; stem cells support regeneration. The clinic prescribes both and reviews progress together.
Where do the stem cells come from?
NovaStem is a prepared high-concentration stem cell product administered under Korean cell-therapy regulations; the dermatologist explains the preparation and consent at consultation.
Can I continue treatment at home?
Yes. The medication and a scalp routine continue at home; injection sessions are scheduled around your visits to Seoul.
Is the 60cc price a permanent discount?
The ₩1,490,000 price for 60cc is a current special against a regular price of ₩2,000,000; it may change, and the quote you receive at consultation is the one that applies.
Can I see a dermatologist for a skin condition, not a cosmetic treatment?
Yes. All four physicians are medical dermatologists. Eczema, warts, hair loss and other skin conditions are diagnosed and treated here, with prescriptions issued the same day.
Can you prescribe medication for the rest of my trip?
Yes, after consultation, for the length of your stay. Bring a note of any medication you already take.
Is laser hair removal permanent?
It gives long-term reduction after a series of five to eight sessions. Occasional maintenance sessions are usual.
Do I need an appointment for a skin condition?
