What it does

As a fully liquid polycaprolactone (PCL) collagen stimulator, GOURI contains no particles, so once injected it spreads evenly through the dermis rather than staying put at each injection site. This lets it stimulate collagen production across the whole treated area, not just at discrete points. The gradual absorption over one to two years is accompanied by a steady improvement in elasticity and a softening of wrinkles.

How it is planned here

The clinic's protocol — set out in Dr. Koh's 2026 video on getting the most from GOURI — uses a limited number of injection points combined with massage to help the product distribute itself through the tissue. Depending on the goal, GOURI is often paired with Dermotoxin for the jawline or Potenza RF microneedling for pore refinement.

What to expect

Mild swelling typically settles within a day or two. Elasticity continues to improve over four to eight weeks, and the usual course is three sessions spaced about a month apart, followed by annual maintenance after that.

Questions

GOURI or Sculptra?

GOURI is liquid and spreads; Sculptra is particulate and builds volume at the injection site. GOURI is chosen for diffuse laxity, Sculptra for deflation.

Is there a risk of lumps?

Lower than with particle products, provided the injection technique and massage protocol are followed.

Downtime?

One to two days.

What is a skin booster, in plain terms?

A series of tiny injections just under the skin that improve its quality: hydration, smoothness, firmness, pores. It is not a filler, so it does not change your shape; it changes how the skin itself looks and feels.

Which booster is right for me?

That is decided by zone from the Mark-Vu skin analysis, not by brand. Thin, dehydrated skin needs a repair booster such as Rejuran; pores and texture need a collagen stimulator such as Juvelook; deflated areas need a volume stimulator such as Sculptra. Many plans use two products in different zones.

Will people be able to tell I had something done?

Small bumps at the injection points are visible for one to three days and are easily covered with makeup. There is no change in your features.

How many sessions do I need?

Hydrating boosters: three sessions a month apart, then maintenance twice a year. Collagen stimulators: two to three sessions, with the result building over two to three months. A single session still gives a visible improvement.

Is the product genuine?

Yes. The clinic uses only authenticated original vials and shows you the product before injection. The amount agreed at consultation is the amount injected.
