Who it suits
- A lower face, jawline or neck that has lost firmnessCaHA microspheres act directly on fibroblasts to stimulate new collagen.
- The back of the hands and décolletageRadiesse is also approved for use on the hands.
- Those who want some change right away as collagen builds over timeThe gel carrier itself adds volume immediately while the biological effect develops.

What it does
The active ingredient is calcium hydroxylapatite, delivered as microspheres suspended in a CMC gel. Once placed, the microspheres stimulate fibroblasts to generate new collagen, elastin, proteoglycans and small vessels. The gel carrier itself provides an immediate volumising effect, which is gradually taken over by the patient's own regenerated tissue — the combined result is improvement in fine lines, pores, texture and elasticity, not just added volume.
How it is planned here
Dilution and placement both depend on the treatment zone — a highly diluted mix is used across the cheeks and neck when the goal is skin quality, while a less diluted mix is placed along the jawline when the goal is contour.
What to expect
Swelling is typical for two to three days afterward. The new collagen builds gradually over about three months, and the effect generally lasts around a year.
Questions
Is it a filler?
It can be used as one, but at The Heal it is mostly used diluted as a collagen booster.
Radiesse or GOURI?
Different mechanisms; the dermatologist chooses by zone and by how much immediate effect you want.
Price?
Quoted at consultation by area and number of syringes.
What is a skin booster, in plain terms?
A series of tiny injections just under the skin that improve its quality: hydration, smoothness, firmness, pores. It is not a filler, so it does not change your shape; it changes how the skin itself looks and feels.
Which booster is right for me?
That is decided by zone from the Mark-Vu skin analysis, not by brand. Thin, dehydrated skin needs a repair booster such as Rejuran; pores and texture need a collagen stimulator such as Juvelook; deflated areas need a volume stimulator such as Sculptra. Many plans use two products in different zones.
Will people be able to tell I had something done?
Small bumps at the injection points are visible for one to three days and are easily covered with makeup. There is no change in your features.
How many sessions do I need?
Hydrating boosters: three sessions a month apart, then maintenance twice a year. Collagen stimulators: two to three sessions, with the result building over two to three months. A single session still gives a visible improvement.
Is the product genuine?
Yes. The clinic uses only authenticated original vials and shows you the product before injection. The amount agreed at consultation is the amount injected.
