What it does
The Stellar M22 system targets melanin inside the hair follicle using filtered light, while contact cooling protects the skin surface during treatment. Only hair that is currently in its growth phase is disabled by each session, and because follicles cycle through different phases over time, more than one session is needed to treat a given area fully.
How it is planned here
The dermatologist sets the device parameters based on your specific skin type and hair thickness, and for darker or tanned skin, a test spot is treated first before proceeding to the full area.
What to expect
Mild redness around the follicles usually settles within a few hours. A typical course runs five to eight sessions, spaced four to eight weeks apart.
